RenewableNY helps New York City manufacturers to conserve energy through the installation of:

  • Energy efficient lighting
  • Energy efficient air conditioning/HVAC systems
  • Lighting/equipment sensors and controls
  • Solar photovoltaic energy systems
  • CHP/Cogeneration units that generate heat and power
  • Other clean technology solutions such as biodiesel, wood gasification, and microturbines

RenewableNY works together with manufacturers to develop cost-effective strategies for their facilities. It brings in energy experts and manages a project from audit stage through installation and system upkeep.

Projects are designed to access all available City, State, and Federal incentives. Financing may also be available to minimize or possibly eliminate upfront costs.

NYIRN provides free project management assistance throughout a RenewableNY project.
